Philip A. Baker
Shinglehouse, Pa. - Philip A. Baker 87 of Horse run Rd., R.D. , Little Genesee, N.Y. died at the Olean General Hospital today ( February 9, 1967) following ill health the past three years.
He was born July 29, 1879 at Andover, N.Y. He was married to Maude Ferguson Baker who died in 1946
Mr. Baker was a Spanish American War Veteren.
Surviving are three sons; Earl Baker of Liong Island, N.Y.; Leon Baker of Clif.; Rex Baker of R.D. Little Genesee, N.Y.; six grandchildren;9 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Esther Fairbanks of Belmont, N.Y.; three briothers, Oliver Baker and Allison Baker , both of Andover and Edgar Baker of Bath, N.Y.; and several neices and nephews.
Friends may call at the Howard Funeral Home here beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday ( Feb 11, 1967). The Rev. M.H. Vincent, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.
