Alice H. Boden, 90, of Coudersport, PA, died December 26, 2013 at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport.
Born on July 6, 1923, in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of George H. and Alice Loynds Everett. On February 25, 1944, she married Joseph H. Boden, who preceded her in death, March 19, 1987, after 43 years of marriage.
Alice was a homemaker, she loved her family and her family always came first.
Surviving are her children, Patricia Loy, Nina Boden, and Christine (Laurence) Coole all of Coudersport, Joseph (Wanda) Boden, of Genesee, PA, step-daughter Peg (Donald) Kelsey of Coudersport, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Henry D. Lewis, April 2002.
Friends and family are invited to Alice’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 with a visitation from 11am-1pm at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, Ltd., “A Life Celebration Home”, 210 North East St., Coudersport, PA, with a funeral service to follow at 1pm, with Pastor Darell D. Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Rathbone Cemetery.
