Alberta A. Reynolds, 84, of Cornell, WI, formerly of Shinglehouse, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in her home.
Born December 13, 1929 at her family home in Shinglehouse, she was a daughter of Andrew and Martha Stoddard Reynolds.
Alberta was employed as a telephone operator in Rockford, Illinois.
In her younger years she was very musical, having played the accordion and piano. She was known for being fun loving. She will always be remembered for her beautiful red hair, dimples and infectious laugh.
Surviving are a sister, Reba Smothers; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the East Sharon Cemetery, Shinglehouse, with the Rev. James Haddon, pastor of the Shinglehouse Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
