Miss Viola Ackerman died Friday night of pneumonia, aged thirty-three years, after a short illness. Deceased lived at Honeoye for nineteen years and for the past year had served as postmistress of that place. Sixteen years ago she joined the Baptist church at Richburg and continued an earnest Christian until her death. She leaves two sisters and an aged father and mother to whom her death comes with crumbling force. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church (unreadable) ernoon which were very largely attended Rev. Mason of Richburg spoke consoling words from the (unreadable) propriate text. "She Hath Done What She Could." The body was laid at rest in the East Sharon cemetery beside that of a brother whose death occurred several years ago.
