Edward McGuirl, 76, of Sharon Center, died, Friday(June 18, 1982) in Olean General Hospital following a brief illness. Born Sept. 9, 1905, at Birdsall, N.Y.,he was a son of James and Agnes Reagan McGuirl. OnApril 21, 1928, he married Eveleen Miller, who survives.
Mr. McGuirl was a self employed miller, who retired in 1970.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Paul McGuirl, Binghamton, N.Y. two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Welch, Shinglehouse, and Mrs. PhylliS Stout; Rochester, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul McGuirl, Scio, N.Y. ; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral and committal services were held Friday at ,2:00 p.m, in the Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, with the Rev. William Horne, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Bolivar, N.Y., officiating. Burial was in Sharon Center Cemetery.
