Daniel C. Kelly

Daniel C. Kelly passed away at the home of his son, Mr. and Mrs. George Kelly of Buffalo, N.Y., Wednesday, June 12, 1921 following a long illness. He had been a helpless invalid for nearly three years but was most tenderly cared for by his people.
The subject of this sketch was born 91 years ago and had been a resident of the Eleven Mile valley, east of Shinglehouse for a great many years, and where he was engaged in the (unreadable) bering industry and also farming. He was a fine old gentleman and held in high esteem by all in that community.
Besides his widow Mr. Kelly is survived by three children, Mrs. Florence Lockwood and Mrs. Clinton Mesler of Eleven Mile and George Kelly of Buffalo. The body was brought to Eleven Mile where the funeral took place Friday afternoon, being largely attended by his old neighbors and friends.
