OLON B. LAWTON AKRON -- Olon B. Lawton, 71 of Akron, a former resident of Shinglehouse, Pa., died Sunday (Feb. 9, 1986) in Buffalo General Hospital. Born Nov. 2, 1914, In Bell Run, Pa., he was a son of James Bird and Cloe Lawton. On Sept. 6, 1941, in Ceres, he married the former Leah Loucks, wo survives. Mr. Lawton had been employed as a mechanic in the Akron area prior to retirement. Surviving besides his widow are a son. Jerry Lawton of Lockport; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Burkhardt of Clarence Center; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, Wednesday (Feb. 12, 1986) from 1 to 2 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Jerry Brust, pastor of the Bell Run Union Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.
