MRS CLIFFORD LAWTON Mrs. Clifford Lawton passed away at their home on Honeoye street in this boro Friday afternoon ad 6:15 o'clock following a short illness. Mildred Brace was born in Rixford on February 26, 1908. On Christmas Day 1929, she was united in marriage to Clifford Lawton, and her entire life had been spent in Rixford and Shinglehouse. She was a dutiful and loving daughter, wife and mother, and will be greatly missed. Besides the sorrowing husband, she is survived by four children, Rosalee, aged five years; Edward, aged three years; Marie, aged on year and the baby, 18 days old. Also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Schuyler Brace of Rixford; four sisters, Mrs. Rena Cottrell, Mrs. Delilah Cottrell and Mrs. Ruth Larkins of Rixford, Mrs. Maude Irons of Ceres; and two brothers, Paul and Leo Brace of Rixford. The funeral was held at the home at two o'clock Monday afternoon with the Rev. R. M. Safford, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was made in Maple Grove Cemetery. H.D. Morton was funeral director.
