Obituary:
ROULETTE- Geraldine L. Anderson, 76, of Creek Side Dr., passed away Friday (July 1, 2011) unexpectedly, in Port Allegany.

Born April 22, 1935, in Coneville, PA, she was a daughter of Roland and Lucille Lloyd Roberts. On Nov. 25, 1951, in Roulette, she married F. David Norton, who died May 20, 1993. In December 1976, in Coudersport, she married William Anderson, who died Oct. 10, 1977.

Mrs. Anderson was employed as a nurse with Hewitt Manor in Shinglehouse, and later with Bradford Pavilion. She also did private nursing care and worked for the former Adelphia Cable Co. of Coudersport, before her retirement.

She was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of the Erlanger Hospital School of Nursing, Chattanooga, TN, Class of 1985.

She was a member of the Chestnut Street Baptist Church of Port Allegany, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and member of the church choir.

Surviving are two sons, Michael R. (Karen) Norton of Ninevah, IN, and Patrick D. (Jane) Norton of Fairland, IN; two daughters, Michelle A. (Henry "Yogi") Hatcher of Roulette, PA, Tammy L. Turnage of Seven Springs, NC; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two brothers, William (Kathy) Roberts of Rixford, and Darwin (Donna) Roberts of Roulette; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband William, three brothers, Lawrence Roberts, Marvin Roberts, Joseph Roberts; and two sisters, Arlene Stewart and Pauline Roberts.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday (July 5, 2011) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. H.D. Youngblood, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Rathbone Cemetery, Hebron.

Memorials can be made to the Chestnut Street Baptist Church or Roulette Ambulance.
