Mrs. Theo Kester Passes Away in Local Hospital
Mrs. Theo J. Kester of Port Allegany died in the Potter County Memorial Hospital in Coudersport on Saturday, March 25. She was born on November 29, 1895 in Shinglehouse and has resided in Port Allegany for the past 30 years.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Arthur McNeil of Turtle Point; two sisters, Mrs. Clifford Grimes of Port Allegany and Mrs. Fay Lindsay of Turtle Point; three brothers, Clifford McNeil of Kane, Clair McNeil of Turtle Point and Claude McNeil of Eldred; five daughters, Mrs. Harry VanSickles of Roulette, Mrs. Harold Tarbox and Miss Genevieve Kester of Cleveland, Mrs. Clair Hawber of Port Allegany and Mrs. Walter Foust of Coudersport; one son, Arthur Kester of Port Allegany; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Gallup Funeral Home in Port Allegany where services were held at 1:39 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, March 28, 1950, with the Rev. John D. Westley, pastor of the Port Allegany Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiating.
Burial was made in the East Sharon Cemetery, Potter County.
