CARSON GLADDEN
Thelma M. Lawton passed away
January 30, 2000, at her home in
Tucson, Arizona. She was bom the
daughter of Clifton H. Lawton and
Mildred (Brace) Lawton on January
16, 1935, in Shinglehouse, PA.
On Oct. 17, 1953, in Cuba, s he
married Arthur Carson of Angelica,
N.Y. who is deceased.
Surviving are: one son, Kevin J.
Carson of Phoenix, AZ.; one daughter,
Shannon E. Gladden of Tucson;
her father of Feura Bush, NY; two
sisters, Roseleah Holden of Olean,
NY, Mayme (Bill) Giles of Cuba, NY;
and one brother, Clifton Edward
(Betty) Lawton of St. Cloud, FL; two
grandchildren, Shane and Jessica of
Phoenix and several nieces and
nephews.
Thelma was predeceased by her
mother, step-mother, and grandparents.
She graduated from Cuba Central
School, class of 1952, and has
lived in Florida and Arizona for several
years.
A memorial will b e held at a later
