MRS. MELVIN LAWTON
SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. -- Mrs. Beulah P. Lawton, 80 of Jander Run Road, died Wednesday (Oct. 28, 1981) in Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, after a lengthy illness.
Born July 23, 1901 in Emporium, she was a daughter of William and Lillian Haskins Connor. In 1926, she married Melvin Lawton, who survives.
Surviving besides her husband, are a son, Raymond Brinkworth of Angola, N.Y.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dell (May) Morton of Coudersport and Mrs. Peter (Gussie) Hart of Bradford; two brothers, Asia Connor of East Smethport and Benjamin Connor of Betula; and several nieces and nephews.
Friend may call at the Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral service will be held Saturday (Oct. 31, 1981) at 2 p.m. The Rev. David Lawton of Bolivar, N.Y., will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.
